Not bad for a first try. The melodies are nice. However, you definitely have to work on how to arrange all instruments together. Once the other instruments start playing, they don't fit together very well. It sounds a bit like a cacophony. Also, it would be nice if the melody was more varied. Especially in that first part. It should be changing at least a bit. Right now it sounds too repetitive. Seems like you have a good knack for catchy melodies, so you should capitalize on that and make them even better.

Shonalika responds:

I hear you, especially with regard to the instruments clashing! Thanks for your review:)

Great job!

ForgottenDawn responds:

Thanks!

This is great! I really like it! Good job, people!

Step responds:

Woo, glad you think so! Thanks.

I decided to check more of your songs, since I fell in love with your Stellar Blades (which is IMHO better than the Cosmic Dream that you listed as inspiration). And I wasn't disappointed! Another great tune. I love the speed. What is it, 177 bpm? You actually inspired me to make my own fast tune like this. Great job!

Do you make music for games? This is really perfect for rhythm games like Super Hexagon or so.

AED-4 responds:

Actually, this is *only* 174 bpm ^^

Well, nobody has asked me to make music for games, so I don't :P

And thanks for the review :)

Good stuff. I like it for listening on my headphones while I'm working.

ADR3-N responds:

Same here, or sketching. Thanks for the review!

This is pretty cool. Nice style. I could definitely see it being used in a video game during (or just before) a fight with a boss at the end of a level :)
The instruments play really nicely together. Nice composition overall!

ADR3-N responds:

Never thought of that. I'm glad you liked! :)

This music is pretty good. I like how the instruments fit nicely together. The percussion is also interesting. I like fast percussions :) My favourite aspect of this song is how it changes from fast with lots of instruments into slow sections with fewer instruments, and then back to fast again. I like how you made the transitions. I made a similar song few days ago, but I think my transitions are not as good as yours.
On top of that, the melody is pretty cool and catchy. All around very good production. Keep making more music like this!

Thank you very much for detailed review ^^!

Very good

Amazing piece. I especially like what you did there between 2:45 and 3:07. Very interesting. It's probably coincidence, but this music reminds me a bit of the "Crysis 2" soundtrack, which is a good thing to me. Similar instruments.
I like that something all the time happens in this tune. Can't really find any falws. Great work!

TommyUlysesGrant responds:

Thank you very much.

Nice.

Reminds me of old Amiga music :) I like it, but I think you are better at composing classical music. I have to say I enjoyed other Light And Dark songs more. If I can suggest anything, I would rather advice you to master your skills at classical music.
Nevertheless, a nice tune.

TommyUlysesGrant responds:

This was a test. but I thank for you constructive critisism, and being completely honest. Thank you.

Amazing

Very nice composition. Is it performed live with real instruments?

TommyUlysesGrant responds:

Yes this song was composed live with real instrumets.

Thank you.
